Movement Performance Institute Agrees to Create Sports Rehab Programming for SMARTfit

SMARTfit training took place yesterday in Los Angeles at Movement Performance Institute, in preparation for Dr. Christopher Powers to taking the lead in creating SMARTfit’s turnkey, video supported sports rehab programming.  Programming will be made available to SMARTfit users via SMARTfit’s Android/iOS user interface.

“SMARTfit takes the focus of the player off the mechanics and moves it to the external, forcing the brain to solve two problems at the same time.  This solves the big missing part in rehab because we want carryover onto the field.  SMARTfit is a great tool to test if this is happening before they return to play” – Dr. Christopher Powers, PhD, PT, FACSM, FAPTA, USC professor, Director, Biokinesiology Program, Co-Director, Biomechanics Research Lab.

We are honored to be partnering with Movement Performance Institute to provide our customers with state-of-the-art programming for their patients.  This library of programs will add to our already impressive list of video supported sports performance, orthopedic, neuro and active aging programs that are easily available via the push of a button.

More important, SMARTfit’s user interface allows therapists and trainers to personalize programming, track performance, as well as generate and export baseline/progress reports, all designed to free up valuable time.
